Janice and Sara met at the Interactive Telecommunications Program (ITP) at New York University. Bound by a shared passion for interactive digital storytelling, they set out to design projects that could reach diverse audiences and tell compelling stories. They first began collaborating in 1998, when they were approached by an award-winning filmmaker to produce an experimental interactive DVD featuring his documentary.
That first collaboration sparked a long-term vision: to build a studio that fuses rich editorial content, clean design, and innovative technology in digital media.
Through Missing Pixel, Janice and Sara bring over a decade of experience in leading projects, building collaborative teams, and exploring new technologies. They are dedicated to finding the most compelling ways to express narrative through interactive design and thoughtful digital solutions.
